Ruby Kaye Williams

Ruby Kaye Williams, 75 of Fredonia, Kansas passed away with her family by her side on Saturday, June 3, 2023 at St. John’s Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Ruby was born in Oroville, California on October 26, 1947 to Robert and Betty (Allred) Greer. After the family moved to Kansas, Ruby attended school in Altoona. She married Robert Williams and the two welcomed 2 sons, Roger and Rickey. They later divorced. She then married David Lemon and they welcomed 3 children to their family, Terry, Angela, and Tommy. They later divorced and she then married Allen Krone. After Allen’s passing, Ruby reconnected with Robert Williams and the two wed a second time until his passing. Ruby worked a variety of jobs throughout her life, she worked at a few local factories and as a clerk at numerous convenient stores in the area. Ruby was a member of the VFW, a Red Hat member, and the Royal Neighbors of America. Ruby loved to attend yard sales all over the county, play cards and travel with her best friend Nancy to Branson. Most of all, Ruby loved to spend time with her family.

Ruby is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Betty Greer, brother, Charles Greer, sister, Betty Greve, and son, Terry Lemon.

Survivors include her sons, Roger Williams, Rickey Williams, and Tommy Lemon, daughter, Angela Fritz, sister, Roberta Harlow, brother, Clifford Greer, 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. A Celebration of Ruby’s life will be held at Loran Fawcett Chapel on Tuesday, June 13^th at 1:00 pm. Cremation will then take place with the family holding a private burial at Ross Cemetery.
