Ruth E. Hackworth

Ruth Hackworth, born on January 22, 1935, passed away peacefully on December 25, 2025, at the age of 90. Ruth was a kind, loving, and giving person, known for her warmth and generosity.

A Graveside service will be held in Ruth’s honor at 2pm at Mount Hope Cemetery in Independence, Kansas, on Thursday January 8th. Family and friends will gather to celebrate her life and share cherished memories. The family request that donations be made to Finding Care for Dementia and Alzheimer’s.
