Teryl Borders

TERYL L. BORDERS Teryl L. Borders, 63, of Neodesha, died Friday, April 16, 2010, at Wilson Medical Center, Reece Campus in Neodesha. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Neodesha Cemetery with Rabbi Yesheshua Othniel of Independence, Kansas, officiating. Interment is under the direction of the PenwellGabel Loran Fawcett Chapel of Neodesha. The casket has been closed and friends may to register at the cemetery. The family has suggested memorial remembrances to the American Cancer Society or a donation to the donors choice. Remembrances will be received at the funeral home. Teryl Lynn Borders was born October 30, 1946 at Denver, Colorado, the daughter of Robert Benson and Mabel Bacon Hinson. She attended Independence High School, graduating in 1964. She attended the Herron School of Art and Design in Indianapolis, Indiana where she received her Bachelor of Arts Degree. In 2000, she received her Master of Arts Degree in Art from Pittsburg State University. She worked for the State of Indiana for a time and for the past five years she has been an employee of WATCO Mechanical in Neodesha. She was united in marriage to Daniel Borders and they were later divorced. Survivors include a brother, Sam Hinson of Garland, Texas and a sister Sandi Cohee of Neodesha. She was preceded in death by her parents, her step father , Forrest Hinson and a daughter, Danya Dee Borders.
