Mrs. Vickie L. Brooks, 52, of Wichita, died Wednesday afternoon at Via Christi St. Joe Hospital in Wichita, Kansas. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 26, 2010 at the Grace Baptist Church of Neodesha with Pastor Jim Logan officiating. Interment will be at the Neodesha City Cemetery. Friends may call to register at Penwell Gabel Loran Fawcett Chapel from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Monday. The family has suggested memorial remembrances to Kansas Coalition Against Sexual amp Domestic Violence www.kcsdv.org and remembrances will be received at the funeral home. Vickie Lynn Brooks was born July 16, 1958 at Fredonia, Kansas, the daughter of Gordon D. Moffatt and Reva R. Toomey Moffatt. Mrs. Brooks grew up in the Fredonia and Altoona area and received her education in Fredonia and later attended college at Neosho County Community College in Chanute. She later moved to Wichita, Kansas and there she worked as a phlebotomist at Via Christi St. Joe Hospital. Mrs. Brooks was married to Terry Krege and they later divorced. On April 01, 2002 at Wichita, Kansas, she was united in marriage to Herb Foulk and he survives at the home. Survivors include: a son, Dusty Lee Krege of Lancaster, CA a daughter, Misty Dawn Krege Lassley of Port Royal SC a stepson Shane Foulk and a stepdaughter Shelly Faulk of Kansas City and a brother J.D. Moffatt of Neodesha, KS. Vickie is preceded in death by her parents and a brother Gary W. Moffatt.
