Villa Lewis

Villa Gae Lewis, age 70, of Neodesha, died Tuesday, May 6th, 2014 at the Via Christy Select Specialty Hospital in Wichita, KS.

Cremation will take place and a memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 10th at 2:00 p.m. at the Loran Fawcett Chapel in Neodesha. Memorials are suggested to the W.A. Rankin Library and may be left at the funeral home.

Villa was born on October 13, 1943 in Neodesha, the daughter of Lynn and Mae Lopeman Kilgore. She grew up in Neodesha and graduated from Neodesha High School in 1961. Villa married Don Lewis on October 10, 1963 in Neodesha. She had worked for Glenn Utt Furniture, Harry Depew Law Firm, Dr. Moorehead, The First Neodesha Bank and retired from the City Office in Neodesha in 2007.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son Gene Lewis of Owasso, OK, one daughter Lynn McEntire of Bakersfield, CA as well as 3 grandchildren: Trey Lewis, Dylan Lewis and Blake McEntire. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandchild, Dallen McEntire.
