Virginia Aldrich

November 15, 1925 — January 22, 2018

Virginia Marjorie Bach Kozeny Aldrich, 92, formerly of Neodesha, Ks.,
Dickinson, Tx., Munster, In., and Shell Knob, Mo., passed away on January 22,
2018 in Lawrence, Ks. Ginny was born on November 15, 1925 and raised in
Oak Park, Il. She was a graduate of Northwestern University in 1948 with a
degree in Mathematics. Ginny had many interests including playing bridge,
sewing, knitting, crocheting, counted cross-stitch, reading, doing crossword
puzzles (in ink!) and watching and solving Wheel of Fortune puzzles. She was a
Cub Scout den mother, a Brownie and Girl Scout leader, Sunday School
kindergarten teacher, active in the Neodesha P.T.A., a square dancer & had a
HAM radio license.
Ginny was proceeded in death by her first husband, Oral Kozeny in 1981; her
son, Geoph in 2007; second husband, Don Aldrich in 2005; and two brothers.
Ginny is survived by her daughters, Kim (Ed) Bergman of Olathe, and Penny
Kozeny of Lawrence; grandchildren Amanda (Gerry) Nusbaum of Olathe and
Chad Bergman of Littleton, Co.; and great granddaughter, Riley Nusbaum.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 27, at 1:00 p.m. at the Loran
Fawcett Chapel in Neodesha, Ks. followed by burial in the Neodesha cemetery.
