Charles (Charlie) AKA (Uncle Eddie) Bunch 72 of Havana Kansas passed away Friday, September 24, 2021, at the Wilson Medical Center in Neodesha, KS. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Loran Fawcett Chapel. No services will be held. A private family memorial will take place at a later date.
The Son of Frederick and Emma (Howard) Bunch, he was born July 7, 1949 in Marion Indiana, where he attended high school. Charlie lived in San Rafael California most of his adult life before moving to Havana Kansas where he has lived for the last 22 years. He worked as a mechanic his whole adult life and owned Main Street Auto in Caney Kansas for several years where he met many people, that he shared his life and friendship with. Helping people was his joy and these friends were a bright highlight to his daily life, and he liked to amuse us with his fond memories and fun stories. Charles also loved to spend time at the Caney racetrack and sponsored several of the race cars.
He is survived by two sisters, a brother and several nieces and nephews. His sister Honey of Neodesha and her five children, Lita (Todd) Biggs of Frontenac KS, their children Patrick, Violet, Joey and Mac Biggs, Shawn (Jeremy) Hodges of Harrison AR, their children Samantha and Abigail Hodges, Monica (Brian) Richardson of South Coffeyville OK, their children Rachel, Jacob Richardson and Lauren (Alavaro) Ramirez, Emma Foudray (Matt Norton) of Altoona KS and children, Andrew, Addison and Alexis Foudray and Ryan Norton, Michael Hueston of Bartlesville OK and his children Patrick, Rylea Jo and Kaigon. His sister Sandra Coan of Caney KS and brother Fred (Jodi) Bunch of Bartlesville OK and children Tristan Bunch and Spencer (Crystal) Bunch and their son Bentley. He is also survived by lifelong family friend David Merritt of Independence KS.
