Franklin Lambertine Cohee, 80, of Neodesha passed away Tuesday, July 27, 2021, at Wilson Medical Center. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Loran Fawcett Chapel and a Celebration of Frank’s Life will be held at Loran Fawcett Chapel on Friday, August 13,2021 at 11:00 AM. The family will greet friends from 10:30 to the start of the service.

Frank was born May 22, 1941, in rural Neodesha near Dunns Dam to Charles L. Cohee and Marjorie Cleo (Kebert) Cohee. He graduated from Neodesha High School in 1959. He worked for G.E. Clock from 1955 to 1969. He owned and operated Neodesha Recreation from 1972 to 1975. He then worked at MEC and Evergreen Builders until his retirement in 2001. In 1959 he married Shirley Cook and the two later divorced. In 1965 he married Jana Sue Holmburg, they later divorced. He was a member of the Metro Club for 20 years and a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles.

He preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Marjorie Cohee, brothers, Samuel Cohee, Elmer Cohee, Charles Cohee and Daniel Cohee and one grandchild, Aysa Frazier.

He is survived by 3 children, Charles C. Cohee of Chanute, Cindy Gard of Chanute, and Carla LaFon of Independence, and his life partner, Dorothy Williams of the home, brothers, Tony Cohee of Warsaw, MO, Ronald Cohee of Conway, AR, and Steven Cohee of Oklahoma City, OK, 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
