Mary Ann Murphey 83 of Neodesha, Kansas passed away Thursday October 21, 2021, at Morning Star Care Homes in Neodesha, Kansas.
Memorial services will be Friday October 29, 2021, at 1:00pm at the First Christian Church in Neodesha, Kansas. Burial service will follow at the Neodesha Cemetery, in Neodesha, Kansas.
Mary Ann Angeline (Cram) was born September 21, 1938, in Neodesha, Kansas the daughter of Gene and Lora Nadine (Burton) Cram. Mary Ann attended school in Neodesha and graduated from Neodesha High School in 1958. Mary Ann attended college and was an active member of Delta Delta Delta Sorority at the University of Kansas (KU) She received a Bachelors Degree of Music Education and graduated the Tenth Day of August in Nineteen Hundred and Sixty-Two.
Mary Ann lived in Neodesha from 1938 to 1962 before moving to Shawnee Mission Kansas where she lived from 1976 to 2019 and was a Music Teacher for the Kansas City Missouri School District teaching K thru 5th grade, until her retirement of 2007.
Mary Ann loved to play the piano and go to movies. Mary also loved to travel and loved to spend time with her son Brandon and her loving family.
Mary Ann is survived by her son Brandon Murphey of Shawnee Kansas.
Sisters, Deanna Pittman of Wichita, Kansas. And, Janet Baker and husband Don Baker of Franklin, TN.
Mary Ann is also survived by her nephew Craig Pittman and nieces Shanlynn Grosvenor of Franklin TN. And Angie Patterson of Brentwood TN.
Mary Ann is preceded in death by her parents Gene and Lora Cram.
