Oneta Anderson

On October 1, 2021, Oneta Irene Anderson died at the Neodesha Care and Rehabilitation Center. Oneta requested no services, only a private memorial with her family.

Oneta was born on October 31, 1937, in Liberty, Kansas to James Wesley Malone and Lelia May (Manley) Malone. On April 13, 1957, Oneta married Raymond Allen Anderson in Neodesha, Kansas. They made their home in Neodesha. Oneta worked at Wilson County Hospital and both nursing homes in Neodesha. She also worked as a cook in many of the restaurants in Neodesha. Oneta loved cooking for her family and friends. She also enjoyed growing roses and vegetables in her garden.

Survivors include her daughter, Sherrie (Anderson) Daniels of Neodesha, KS, son Terry Ray Anderson and wife Carole of Neodesha, KS, one brother, Leslie Malone and wife Betty of Independence, KS, 11 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
