Theodore (Teddy) Lee DeWitt 89 of Neodesha, KS passed away at his home on Thursday, September 10, 2020. Cremation has taken place through Loran Fawcett Chapel in Neodesha, KS. Private family services will take place at a later date.

Theodore Lee DeWitt was born August 12, 1931, in rural Cherryvale, KS the son of Aubrey Dude and Agatha (Davis) DeWitt. On February 7, 1975, Teddy was united in marriage to Priscilla Lynn Simmons in Fredonia, KS and they made their home in Neodesha, KS.

Teddy worked for Tri Ad company until it closed. Teddy also worked for Custom Forms until they closed. Teddy then went to work for Contractors Engineering building the concrete forms that were used in the building of Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, MO the home of the Kansas City Chiefs. Teddy loved to play pool, wood working, and riding motorcycles.

Teddy is survived by his wife Priscilla of the home. Son Robert Ward and wife Denece of Golden, MO. Son Danny DeWitt and wife Sandy of Carrollton, MO. Son Terry DeWitt and wife Jamie of Sycamore, KS. Daughter Kim Ward of Neodesha, KS. Daughter Tammy Latham and Husband Chris Collins of Neodesha. Brother Donnie DeWitt of Cherryvale, KS. Sister Rose Beck of Fort Myers, FL. Sister Ann Smith of Independence, KS and 9 Grandchildren and 6 great Grandchildren.

Teddy is preceded in death by his parents Aubrey and Agatha, one sister Sue Warren, one brother Gene DeWitt, and his granddaughter Desiree Lynn Latham.
